About us
Therapy built around real needs and real outcomes
We support children and young people with cerebral palsy and neurological conditions across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
Who we help
The Gaitway Organisation supports children and young people with cerebral palsy and neurological conditions across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
What we do
We deliver specialist therapy programmes designed to improve strength, mobility and independence. Our approach combines Conductive Education and neurophysiotherapy in a structured and supportive environment.

Why it matters
We exist to change what's possible
Gaitway was founded by parents who experienced first-hand the challenges of accessing consistent therapy. Many families face long waiting lists, limited therapy hours and difficult choices about how to support their child's development.
We exist to change that.
our purpose
Vision, mission and values
Our vision
To support children and young people with cerebral palsy and neurological conditions to become the best version of themselves.
Our mission
To provide consistent, high-quality therapy in an inclusive environment where children can build strength, confidence and independence, while supporting families every step of the way.
Our values
We are guided by care, inclusion and respect — creating a safe, supportive environment where children can build confidence, independence and a sense of belonging.
Our story
From a group of parents to a growing community
A group of parents came together to create something different — a service built around real needs and real outcomes. The Gaitway Organisation was established in 2019 as a Company Limited by Guarantee, by parents, for parents who could not get enough quality physical input for their children.
Today, Gaitway continues to grow, providing life-changing therapy and building a strong, supportive community for families.
